Product name
Transferrin (TF), ELISA kit
Full product name
Bovine Transferrin ELISA Kit
Product gene name
TF Elisa kit
For research use only
For research use only. It should not be used in diagnostic procedures.
Species reactivity: Bovine
Specificity
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between bovine TF and analogues was observed.
Samples
Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, feces and urine
Test type: sandwich
Detection range: 31.2mg/dl – 1000mg/dl.
Sensitivity: 5.0mg/dl.
Intended uses
This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA Kit is for in vitro research use only, not for therapeutic, home, or drug applications! It is intended to determine the concentrations of TF in serum, plasma and other bovine body fluids. Using the purified bovine TF antibody to coat the wells of the Microelisa strip plate to make the solid phase antibody, then add TF and the TF antibody that has been HRP-labeled to the wells, then the reagents are converted into a complex of antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme, after washing thoroughly, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate turns blue under catalyzed by HRP enzyme, the reaction is finished by adding sulfuric acid solution and changing colour is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of TF in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay precision
The intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%.
Inter-assay precision
The inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean ×100]
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degrees C
Product note
Information selected from the online data sheet is extracted from bioinformatics databases, sometimes resulting in the ambiguous or non-relevant product information. It is the customer’s responsibility to review, verify and evaluate the information to ensure it matches their requirements prior to purchasing the kit. Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and may be updated and improved from time to time.
If the format of this assay is important to you, please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current trial details. We cannot guarantee that the sample manual posted online is the most up-to-date manual, it is intended to serve as an example only. Consult the instructions for use provided with the assay kit for precise details.
Other notes
Small volumes of bovine transferrin Elisa kit vials may occasionally become trapped in the product vial seal during shipping and storage. If necessary, briefly spin the vial in a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the vial cap. Certain products may require dry ice shipping and an additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS025326 is a ready-to-use microwell strip plate ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) Kit for testing the presence of Transferrin (TF) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls generate a theoretical detection range of the kit in biological research samples containing TF.
The analytical biochemical ELISA technique of the MBS025326 kit is based on TF antibody-TF antigen (immunosorbent) interactions and an HRP colourimetric detection system to detect TF antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, non-recombinant TF. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, and secretions. Quality control assays that evaluated reproducibility identified intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV (%).
